About the course

It is a course designed to optimize time and perfect the students' abilities, working intensively throughout the day with a variety of activities that make it possible to combine personal study, musical growth and the vital experience of living together in a group .


The main activity of the course is the lectures with the teaching staff. The training is completed with chamber music classes, work with an accompanying pianist, the possibility of playing in concert and the possibility of attending as a listener all the classes of the rest of the students. In addition, they can also participate in all the cultural and leisure activities prepared by the organization (workshops, conferences, visits, museums, excursions).

Antonio Galera

PIANIST


Described by Scherzo as "a voice with its own personality", Antonio Galera has performed in the Salle Cortot in Paris, Chapelle de la Trinité in Fontainebleau, Saint Martin in the Fields in London, Zhong Shan Hall in Taipei, Steinway Hall in New York, Society of the Four Arts de Palm Beach, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Palau de la Música de Valencia, Auditorio ADDA de Alicante, Cartoixa de Valldemossa, Auditorio de Zaragoza or Palau de la Música de Barcelona, with conductors such as P. Entremont, B. Fernández, H. Garcia, R. Gimeno, JE Luna, P. Rus, A. Salado, C. Soler or R. Tebar.


Very active in the field of chamber music, he has performed at the Fundación Juan March, Center de Musique de Chambre de Paris, the Úbeda Festival, Música en Segura or the Bar Harbor Music Festival, where he is resident musician. Other recent engagements include concerts in Latin America, the Middle East or South Africa. He carries out multidisciplinary collaborations with the companies La Veronal, La Fura dels Baus and Cashalada or together with the writer Elvira Lindo. His debut album, "Prélude", has received the recognition of specialized critics.


He teaches courses at the University of Valencia and at schools and universities in France, Belgium, Italy, Mexico, Malaysia, Qatar, Spain and the USA. Participates in the productions of the Education department of the Palau de Les Arts. Passionate about cultural management and research, he designs projects such as the Festival dels Horts, of which he is artistic director.

Inés Romaguera

VIOLINIST


He finished his higher studies at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and obtained the Extraordinary Award at the end of his career and the Honorary Award from the Conservatorio Superior de Madrid. Later he moved to Basel to do a Master's in interpretation at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Rainer Schmidt. He also holds a Master's Degree in Interpretation and Musical Research from the International University of Valencia with Fabio Biondi.


With an extensive orchestral career, he has been a member of youth orchestras such as EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra), GMJO (Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester), JONDE (Spanish National Youth Orchestra), Schleswig-Holsteon Festival and Gstaad Menuhin Festival, where he has held positions as concertmaster and second violin soloist. He has been an academician of the National Orchestra of Spain and the Sinfonieorchester Basel, regularly participating in tours and concerts. She has been a finalist and winner of several chamber music competitions, highlighting her artistic excellence.


Scholarship from the BBVA foundation and the Valencian Institute of Culture of the Generalitat Valenciana "CulturArts". He is currently a member of the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia and plays regularly with the violinist Fabio Biondi in the Europa Galante ensemble, with whom he has made several recordings.


ALFREDO FERRE



CELLIST


Alfredo Ferre stands out in the international scene for his connection with the public and his honesty and purity when expressing himself with the instrument. He has been awarded the First Prize at the VI International Antonio Janigro Competition in Zagreb and the Jean Nicholas Firmenich Prize at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland.


Born in Elda in 1994, he has performed as a soloist in some of the most important concert halls in the world (Madrid, Zagreb, Venice, San Petesburg, Lucerne, Dominican Republic, Alicante, Valencia) with orchestras such as the Solistas de Zagreb, the Radio-Television Orchestra of Croatia, Varazdin Kammerorkester, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Málaga, Lunebürg Bachorkester or the Freixenet Orchestra of the Reina Sofía School of Music, among others.


​After his first years of learning with Professor Francisco Pastor, Alfredo entered the prestigious Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid, under the guidance of Natalia Shakhovskaya and Michal Dmochovsky, who played a decisive role in his development as a cellist In 2017 he moved to Switzerland to continue his training with Ivan Monighetti and Claudio Martinez Mehner and completed his Master's and two postgraduate degrees at the Musik Akademie in Basel, the city where he currently resides. He has studied chamber music for more than a decade with Heime Müller (of the Artemis Quartet), Anton Kernjak and Reiner Schmidt. He has participated in the Verbier Festival, Pau Casals, Theater im Hof, Gstaad Festival, Le Conques in France, Kronberg Festival, International Festival of Úbeda, the Clásicos en Verano Festival in Madrid or the Encontre de Música de Santander.


In addition to his career as a concert performer, Alfredo explores his creativity in other musical fields that include composition, electronic music production and sound healing, all grouped under the artistic name of Onomeya.
